About
Dva jelena (Two Deer) is one of the oldest kafanas on Skadarlija, Belgrade’s bohemian cobbled street. The dining room has wood panelling, chandeliers and murals of old Belgrade life. The menu is traditional Serbian food, from grilled meats and sarma to slow-cooked dishes, and in the evening tamburica bands play starogradska songs between the tables.
Local tip
Come for dinner when the musicians play. It is customary to tip the band if they play a request at your table.
